This year marks the 15th anniversary of A Nun’s Life Ministry! It's a great moment made possible by all of YOU–each individual in the online community of A Nun’s Life Ministry!
The community has grown a lot since the start of the ministry in 2006. Now there are women and men from over 175 countries, many faith traditions, all age groups, and all walks of life. We’re honored to be with you on the journey of prayer, faith, laughter, ideas, and conversation.
Of course, there are also hundreds of Catholic sisters with us, too! We share their stories through the podcasts, videos, and blogs on the website. The stories bring the centuries-old tradition of religious life in areas such as spirituality, discernment, and service into conversation with everyday life in the 21st century. The tradition offers wisdom and encouragement not just for Catholic sisters but for everyone on the spiritual journey.
New Podcast Series. In honor of the anniversary year, we’re offering a new series of podcast episodes. They feature Catholic sisters who talk about their journey of faith and service as they address poverty, homeless, human trafficking, and other pressing problems of the world today. The episodes are part of the In Good Faith program, and the first three are now available.
- Sister Richelle Friedman, PBVM, promoting public policies that address the needs of low-income people and other vulnerable groups.
- Sister Joan Dawber, SC, providing safe shelter to survivors of human trafficking.
- Sister Anne Victory, HM, working to end human trafficking through education and collaboration.
History Highlights. Throughout the anniversary year, we’ll also offer a variety of highlights from the last 15 years. Below is one of our favorites, a reflection on the Motherhouse Road Trip series, where we traveled around the country for livestreaming podcasts with Catholic sisters.
